We flew from Heathrow at 0900 to Madrid where we got a connecting flight to Bogota, Colombia. We waited for our bags for ages before realising Joel's wasn't going to turn up! He was told it was still in Madrid and would arrive tomorrow, must suck for him!! From there were then flew to Cartagena where we got a taxi to our ropey hotel after 26 hours of travelling!!!
Next day we had some random stuff for brekkie before going out to look for a hostel to stay in. Is mega hot here like 30 degrees but the place is pretty cool, all the buildings are colourful, the people friendly and the women unbelievably hot!! Just pottered around town all day, the hassling here is nothing compared to Asia so is pretty sweet! Had a few beers and chilled in the pool whilst Joel went to get his bag, only to turn up an hour or so later without it!! He got mixed stuff from them so doesn't really know if it's in Madrid or Bogotá, he is taking it well but after wearing the same clothes for 2 solid days he is starting to smell. Me and Laurie might ditch him soon if he starts to be a hippie. Had a few beers, went for a meal where my pizza didn't turn up so got given a large rum to compensate, just made me more drunk than the others!!
Woke up and Joel went to get his bag, he has literally just turned up with his bag!!! No longer a smelly boy...
