Met this Aussie girl in the airport and grabbed a taxi to some hostel she had heard good stuff about, the place was insane. The shower was off the hook, super-hot showers, was so clean and the food was quality too! Went to a bar for a couple of bars and was real funky and pretty cool. Got up early and hit the gold museum was actually pretty cool spent about 3 hours there! Wandered around town having some nice Mexican meat stuff and then grabbing a coffee and chilling out. Me Laurie and Joel had to check out the hostel as it was full due to a skate competition going on and moved into a pretty grubby place. Ended up having 4 beers and feeling pretty pissed, normal for Joel I guess. Went and ate some grub and hit the sack was pretty tired! Got up early with this rank German smelling out the room and went to the molarity museum which was cool. Went down to the square where there were big peaceful protests which was interesting. Realised Colombia were playing Paraguay as everyone was in there shirts so we went back to get changed into them. We get a lot of attention anyway due to being White and fair (and Laurie being Jewish) but the attention we got because we were in those tops was crazy, good fun!! It all went a bit crazy from then, went down to the main street where the protests were and were looking a bit dodgy. As soon as we realised this hundreds of people started charging down the street with us in the middle, then police water cannons firing at them!! Some little punk hit me with a wooden pole (as I'm super hard didn't feel a thing) and then we decided we shouldn't really be there!! Went off to get some food and heard gunfire and whilst eating loads of tear gas was set off so the doors and windows were closed, crazy times!! Went back to the hostel bar and got on it from 1430 on 60p beers ending up getting slaughtered! As a result we got really into the game; the bar was packed with college locals who were loving us and were singing and dancing with us, was awesome!!! Colombia won 2-0 and both goals the place was crazy, due to my beauty got kissed by some Colombian girl both goals, need to bring this rule in England!!!! Went out to another bar and got mobbed by more locals, they were loving us! A group of fit students were loving us too, Colombian chicks love the young beautiful White guys!! Went to a super expensive bar later and as a result left early and hit the hay! Had a flight to Quito in the afternoon so didn't really do a lot!
