Got here late afternoon and hiked up a million stairs to check into a hostel, the rooftop view really sick! Got on it straight away and headed off on a bit of a pub crawl with the guys from the hostel. Was a real good night and got battered, me and Joel rocking back at 4am. Laurie got back at 0730 am with a rape story... Probs best ask him the details... We were so hungover the next day, tried leaving to go to Peru but due to it being a Sunday and our hungover state it didn't happen so ended up staying over again. Had a crazy search for food everything closed by 2030 and ended up having a kfc which was horrendous!! Decided to go on a hike to the Cotopaxi volcano and it was awesome, the views were insane probably the best I've ever seen!! It was real tiring too, 1st time at altitude (5000m) and our lungs were burning, and heart pumping 200 beats a minute!! Got to cycle down too which was so much fun, seemed like we were going so fast (Chris hoy had nothing on us)! All in all was a real good day, good hiking, good views, good food and good biking!! Got back and booked a ticket to Peru and had an Argentinean burger which was sweet and had an early night. Got up early doors and went to the equator which was pretty sweet, the main centre of the earth! Was pretty cool saw the water go straight down the plug then a metre each way it spiralled, didn't realise it would make such a difference. Laurie balanced an egg and doesn't stop going on about it???? Was a pretty good day for Laurie as he met his ancestors, annoying Dutch oldies! Skyped Ruth which was cool then got some grub before getting a night bus to Guayaquil, just waiting to catch a bus to Mancora Peru. Ecuadorian women are not really that hot, disappointing compared to Colombia.
