Once in Villazon we got to the border and walked across and had to que for an hour until it opened up, pretty easy border to cross as no one seemed interested in any of us. we walked to the bus station and booked our tickets to Salta, the cost nearlly the same as our whole travel in bolivia!! we were all pretty tierd and started to get confused about our ticket, we thought we had been sold a bus that had already left!! it took us about 10 minutes to realise that there was a different time zone in Argentina, so we were able to chill out and relaz till it arrived. It turned up late and whilst we were waiting to the guy to put the bags on the bus the driver started shouting at us to hurry up! not really too sure how it was our fault he was late and his minion was taking too long to put the bags on, and then he tried pulling away when we werent even on the bus!!! what a cock! we slept pretty much as soon as we got on the bus, only to be woken by one of the tyres bursting, we finally get on a decent road for the 1st time in 2 months and the coach breaks down!! we all waited on the bus whilst he tried to fix it, but eventually he gave up and got another bus to come and get us. When it did arrive im not sure what everyone was thinking but there was a mad rush to get everythign onto the next bus. one women was more interested about her belonging thant her 18 month year old girl, she left her wandering next to a busy dual carridgeway on her own who then fell over onto the stones and was crying her eyes out. As im such a lovely person I picked her up and comforted her, the kid was facinated by my beard and good looks and it was a while before the mother came to taker her off me! The rest of the journey was good, was pretty long but no dramas to Salta, when we did get there we were all surprised about how nice the place was, a bit like Oz and America! Got off the bus and got a taxi to the Loki in Salta as it had a free night, not realising how far away the place is, about 40 minutes!!!
