Once we got here we wandered in the hostel, it was in the middle of nowhere but it looked quite nice. Checked in (only 8 other guests) and finally had our first showers in 4 days and they were hot and amazing!! We chilled for a bit before heading over to the bar where they had a BBQ for everyone, it was quality!! we had chicken skewers, chorizo sausage, lamb and one of the nicest steaks I've ever had on the BBQ and a lot of different salads all flushed down with a couple of well-earned beers!! Laurie met his neighbour which was pretty random and they were mega similar, probably would have been besties at school!! for some reason we then decided to switch to the spirits, probably over excited about having a beer and decent food and ended up all getting hammered, Joel and Laurie singing eagle eyed cherry again on karaoke and the rest of the night being a slight blur. I woke up in an empty room right next door to mine, I obviously couldn't handle the massive bunk beds so just hit the hay in that room, or so I thought.... Spent the morning in bed on the wi fi talking to Ruth and just chilling out before we decided it was finally time to get over to pool and catch some rays. When we were here this American girl came over and asked me if I slept well, I thought this was a little strange until she then told me a little story: apparently after the night out I wandered into her dorm room (she wasn't even out that night) and sat on the end of her bed. she asked me what I was doing and apparently apologised and turned the light off and returned to the end of her bed. Apparently she was asking me where my bed was, I was saying I didn't know but as there was a spare bed in the room they sent me to that one. One of the roommates went to find out my room number (pretty decent people considering a weirdo wandered into their room) and came back wanting to take me back and put me to sleep, me in my comatose state proceeded to question why he had a s*** hair cut!! He was trying to help me but I thought it was a good idea to abuse him, luckily he still helped me back to my room (turned out he took me to the one next door) which was pretty cool of him!! The American girl also took some weird guy coming into her room and sitting on the bed really well, saying I looked like a zombie I was so drunk. This story led Laurie and Joel taking the piss out of me all day, I guess it's only fair and good for them that they finally have something to laugh at me for after all their misdemeanours!!! We spent the rest of the day in the sun, Laurie still real constipated and complaining all day about it!! We had a chili con carne for dinner and had a quiet one catching up on some sleep! we went to check out but as the internet was down for 2 days they didn't know what our bill was so they had to ask us what we had, Joel the good boy telling them everything with me and Laurie 'forgetting' a few things! We got the bus to town which was a fraction of the cost of a taxi and then walked to the bus station, Laurie's flip flops breaking which was a laugh! Booked our super expensive bus tickets to Mendoza (£80!!!!) and waited in the terminal for an hour or so for the bus.
