southsea island is tiny! its less than 100m accross. we met our mexican friends miguel and bianca there again and had a mini celebration because they got engaged on a dive. theyve invited us to the wedding so we'l be going to mexico in the summer! to be honest southsea wasnt that gud, but the weather improved so we got a tan before we left!

after losing the crab race :( i think ours may have died! we had some traditional fiji cava. it is the root from a pepper plant and bashed into a powder and put in some silk and water is ran through it and they squeeze out the brown mixture. it kind of tastes how it looks, like muddy water but its bearable. anyways me and jonny drank quite alot of this stuff in the cava ceremony and deffinately felt wierd! it makes your mouth go numb straight away and is supposed to make you sleep but i was awake being sick in the night because of the stuff haha. you have to clap once before you drink it and three times after and it gets passed around in a coconut shell. it was interesting..
