the picture is bounty island. this island was totally lush and the snorkelling just off the beach was fantastic. we survived the twenty bed dorm and took advantage of the only island with hot showers. the food was actually nice and it had a swimming pool too. this is where celebrity love island was filmed.
me and jonny decided to do a dive from bounty island. we dived a 40m long shipwreck that was 30ms deep. we are only qualified to dive 18m and had already had a drink that morning but got told it was fiji style and to chill. it was class, there werent loads and loads of fish because it only sank about 15 years ago but we got to go inside with the torches and everything.
at first i was like what the hell! coz in australia its illegal to enter shipwrecks but the fijian guy i was diving with just went inside so i was like uh oh but id rather be inside with him that in my own. we went inside and it was dark and spooky then i lost sight of him, i soon spotted his bubbles and he had gone down a tiny hole into the hull, i was thinking surely not! but i followed him down this hole to see what was there. it was pitch black and the torches were orange and crap he stood on the bottom of the ship so i did too and my foot went through a gap in the slats and i nearly crapped myself.
we went through some tiny little holes and it was quite claustrophobic but exiting at the same time. it was cool coz when you breathed out your bubbles rested on the ceiling above and it looked class. we had lost jonny and the other guy ages ago so i just followed 'jimbo'. we then went up through a tiny gap and a fish swam by and i nearly died. everytime you touched the ship the particals got disturbed and made it hard to see. i couldnt believe how warm the sea was, it was 29degrees C and even at 30m deep it was hot enough for a short wetsuit (the others didnt wear them at all im just a wimp).
we then saw some bubbles and found jonny and the other guy and we stood on the front of the ship, it would of been an awesome pic if the camera went that deep.
