We had a pretty straight run to Waitomo this morning, with only one stop at a supermarket for lunch. We arrived around 2pm, and checked into Kiwi Paka YHA, which is very nice, we even have our own room!! So exciting!! :D In the afternoon we went on a trip to the Waitomo Gloworm Caves, which was really cool. Firstly, we walked through a huge cave with stalactites and stalagmites, and then we had a little boat ride through a pitch black cave, known as the Glowworm Grotto, and saw all the little glowworms clinging to the ceiling! After that we went out for dinner with Linnette and Lisbeth, and had huge pizzas, and just chatted for ages :) So all in all it was a pretty good day!!
