We made a hike over the island this morning to a little village half a dozen huts where we were given lemon tea, it was only an hours walk but the humidity did for me. Oh my goodness, sailing in the Yasawa (Fijian) islands, it is everything I imagined and more. This place is heavenly. All very straight forward leaving Auckland this morning , breakfast , a short walk to ferry and a pick up in CBD by super shuttle that we ordered and paid for online, half the price of a taxi, more comfortable and a video screen with the daily news and eta of the trip. This is the Esplanade hotel, our stopping place for our last night. We have just finished our sea food platter which was delicious overlooking the sea front. Tomorrow sees us up bright and early to fly to Fiji.
