We arrived in Hoi An at lunch time and checked in to a lovely hotel and headed straight to the pool area to catch some sun. Went out for a really nice dinner and met up with Barry, Lou, Sean and Mandy after for an hour or so.

The next morning we woke up to terrible rain so we chilled in the hotel most of the day and headed in to town for a walk checking out the hundreds of tailor shops (Antonio got some shorts made). We ended up at the same restaurant as the night before for lunch (yes we are boring!) and walked along the river side. Once we got back to our room we skyped Mum and were introduced to Baby Jackson, who is adorable. We then went out for dinner with the gang and shock horror...ended up in the same restaurant again! After dinner we were meant to head to dinner on the riverside were the beer was 3000 dong (10pence) and all the boys planned to get drunk on a pound however, the river had overflowed due to the rain and made getting to the bar impossible so we headed home for an early night.

The next morning the weather was still no better so we sat in the lobby on the internet however the sun came out at 1pm and Angie rushed to the pool to catch some rays. Antonio decided to hire a moped and go exploring and visited the beach. Around 4 he came and picked me up for a 20 minute drive around the town. At 5 we boarded the sleeper bus to Nha Trang in hope of a few sunny days at what is claimed to be Vietnam's best beaches. However, the weather was horrendous so we decided to carry on down south to Saigon.
