We headed to Halong Bay, via bus then boat and were lucky as we had a great group of people on our boat. We went to see the caves which were amazing and then went kayaking in warm water before the sun went down. That night we all played drinking games on the top deck before heading to our cabin. The next morning we were up at 7 for breakfast before being transferred to another boat to take us to Cat Ba. We stopped at the national park and the boys headed up to the top to see the views. It was not an easy walk, especially when we were all hung over but it was definitely worth the effort once we were at the top. We were at the highest point in Cat Ba and the views were breath taking. We then headed to our hotel for that night and headed straight for the beach. It was a small isolated beach were the sea was lovely and warm and we spent the afternoon there. That night the boys played drinking games in the lobby whilst the girls watched on in amusement. The next day it was another early morning to head back to the bay to get the boat back to Halong City were a bus was waiting to take us back to Hanoi. As soon as we got back to Hanoi we booked on a sleeper bus for that night to take us straight to Hoi An.
