Day 39 -

We leave paradise at Mae Haad and head to Hat Salad which turns out to be about a 10 minute drive away. Fay and Co aren't there yet so Anth and I check into our new accommodation. Not so bad! Small bungalows which are clean and about 5 minutes away from the beach so we're not complaining!

We head to the beach firstly to wait for the girls and yet again the beach is beautiful.

Finally we meet up with Steph, Fay and Megan and it is really mad seeing people we know in the middle of Thailand!!! Of course we all chat for ages about where we've been, what we've been up to, trauma stories, etc and then go for something to eat and a drink.

After the meal just us girls head down to Haad Rin where the Full Moon Party takes place mainly to buy a new outfit for the occasion but also to see what sort of atmosphere we shall expect for tomorrow night!

The party or pre-party is already in full swing down on the beach so we stay for a couple of drinks too and take in the madness of it all, looks like tomorrow is going to be a pretty bonkers night…….

Day 40 -

FULL MOON PARTY!!!! We aren't getting ready for the FMP until well later on so I spend today getting my hair braided, it's either that or go with a full on afro. As I have the thickest hair ever it takes 5 hours to braid my hair and they aren't even proper braids just plaits! I finally return to meet everybody at about 6ish and us girls start to get ready.

We all start drinking at about 8pm, straight on to the vodka and coke buckets. The taxi comes at about 11ish to our hotel and we are all well on our way and rather tipsy.

We meet Steph's mum and uncle and head to the beach - BONKERS!! Ha love it already! Get the buckets in and get dancing woooo!

All of a sudden it starts lashing it down so we head to a club. These stupid Frenchmen in fact not stupid, complete tosssers end up starting a argument with our group for no reason what so ever, just because they were rowdy "I think I'm gorgeous" (bleugh) drunks which ends up spoiling it for Anthony (plus Anth is pretty hammered by now anyway) so he ends up going back to the bungalow.

I on the other hand stay with Fay and everyone else bar Steph who have now lost, and we all head to Mushroom Mountain!

By the time we get there Fay and I have lost everyone else and decide to chill out and order a mushroom shake. About a shake and a half in we are both in a fit of giggles at absolutely nothing and this is how our night proceeded until 9am the next day!

Fay and I had the best night ever! We were totally on the same WAVE maaaan (ha personal joke hehe) and everything seemed to be in fast forward!

To top the night off a huge thunder storm came, no rain but thunder and lightening (we think anyway!) and it was brilliant just to watch the huge waves whilst being in a giggly trance and thinking "is this really happening" ha!

Apart from Anth going home it was a fabulous, never-to-forget night!

Day 41 -

This day sort of stems from last night and all rolls into one really. We left the FMP and headed home at about 9:30am, still laughing but worn out. As soon as we got back to the bungalow it was heads down and we panned out until about 5pm that night. Luckily Steph was at the bungalow and she said she had a really good night too.

We all met up and got some food and had a few more drinks in the lounge area of the hotel. I can't believe how quickly time has gone over the last couple of days! The girls are all leaving tomorrow to be on their way and we are off on ours!

Day 42 -

Fay and Co leave at about 11am and Anth and I do nothing all day as it is raining. We basically go into the lounge area of the hotel at about 11am and don't leave there until 11pm eating and drinking in between.

We have now decided that we will head to Bangkok tomorrow. It was going to be Ko Samui but the weather forecast has given rain for the next 10 days so we don't see the point of going to another beach.

We book the trip to the mainland through our hotel, pack so we're ready to go and go to sleep exhausted from our strenuous day!
