Hello! It's been a while since our last entry but we decided to keep going with the blog for the smaller trips we have been doing. We went south to the county of Devon and stayed three nights with Mary, another mum like host, in the coastal town of Exmouth.
To our luck we had three days of sunshine which meant we could just take it easy strolling along the beach and back along the cliff top.
Of course a trip to Devon wouldn't be complete without trying the famous cream teas with clotted cream! A one per day ratio, insisted upon by Nat, gave us our share of cream tea calories for a month! But oh so good. We also tried mulled spiced cider which was not so good. But have since tried and decided to stick with the more traditional mulled wine.
So after a lovely break from the city and some well earned r and r after a weeks long apartment search we took the 4.5 hour bus ride back to London ready to move into our new home at 22 Birkbeck road Acton w36bg (encase anyone is wondering/ keen to send us Xmas cards ;)
Our next trip is this coming weekend the 10th nov where we head south again but this time to Bournemouth.
