Hello friends,

After settling into our flat, getting jobs and Nat working her first day we decided it was time for another holiday. After all, it had been three weeks.

This time we paid a visit to Jill and Mike, more of Ant's mums lovely hospitable friends, down on the south coast in Bournemouth.

We caught a two hour bus on Friday night and arrived to a beautiful welcoming dinner. We woke on Sat to perfect weather to explore the coast. It stayed so nice that we just kept walking and after 5 hours we managed about 12km from just strolling. After a night of watching France smash the Wallabies we woke to even better weather which called for breakfast on the beach (again white sand not pebbles, yet to see this stereotype). After we headed for New Forest, a national park with well no forest but beautiful flat land (and wild horses and cows walking freely around). After clocking up another 10km we rewarded ourselves with another cream tea.

Two day holidays are unfortunately just not enough. We would have loved to have stayed longer but Sunday night called for a bus home and a full weeks of work ahead. "Real life" has certainly begun.
