Today we finished another epic 5 hour drive this time into the middle of one of the Pyrenees national parks where we are staying 2 nights. Highlights on the way included the tallest something bridge in Europe (the blah blah), driving the route that the tour de France had just completed that day, and coming around a corner to find half a pasture of cows hanging out in the middle of the road.

The family who run this b&b are an English family with 2 gorgeous kids (Tan was very close to abducting one of them) and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. Home made croissants and plenty of red wine kept us happy for our entire stay!

While here we did a 5 hour hike up to a mountain viewpoint where we were able to see into Spain and some of the snow capped mountains. We had to tread carefully though as there was a distinct fear of bear attacks present in our hiking party (hey tan).
