Last few hours in Montreal...... I met up with my friend Rennee. The amazing thing about it all.... she was staying in the same hostel as me. (there are at least 40-50 hostels in Montreal). Even stranger still, was that I was sleeping underneath her. We didn`t know that we were staying at the same hostel let alone sharing the same bunk. We met each other in the wash-room the following morning. I have noticed that when you are travelling through hostels, the world seems a small place because you run into familar friends and faces all the time. Last night we (Rennee, myself and Sandrine, a swiss girl) went to the outdoor music festival which was held in the streets. Lots of dancing. We had a lovely meal in the old part of Montreal. We sat outside on the terrace watching the world go by. There was jazz music playing in the restaurant next door. I`m off to Vancauver today. I have enjoyed my stay in the Quebec province. All the french I have met have been so welcoming, warm and helpful. I have loved the people, the music, the food and when the sun shines, the weather. I will write more in Vancauver.
