Poor Fatih had to swim for the canoe he didn't tie up well this morning.
So, I did get my kayak around the bay and a swim before we set off from our overnight mooring at 2 islands joined by a small beach, not far out from Bodrum.
No, I don't remember the name!
We spent some of the day along a cliff face, obviously popular spot for the day tripper party boats from Bodrum - no music necessary on our boat!
More swimming, snorkelling & Julia & I did a kayak reccy ashore to check out what looked like a castle on the beach. It wasn't - part of a 'resort' of sorts. We pulled up on to the beach, checked out the sculptures, accommodation, the basking exhibits & decided we liked it better on board Tanem.h
A short motor to our last night mooring, opposite Black Island which is the most tree clad island we've seen, & this one has hot springs as well.
Having packed, with a bit of urging, the Captain and Ridvan swung into their Bodrum region traditional dancing - impressive dancers!
Unfortunately i can't upload the video I took, possibly a good thing. Then Fatih had his turn, with a dance from his Antalya region, similar apparently to Mary's traditional Greek dancing.
No Whirling Dirvishes, but the crew then had 3 of us up attempting the steps. Poor chef had to hold on dinner until we were over this nonsense!
A fantastic 'last supper' followed, and wine and raki flowed.
Fun, but sad the end had come for the final 6 of us on board, probably a relief for the chef & crew!
