So todays the day! Got up at half 8 and was ready for and down at the rock climbing centre at the bottom of our street! Didn't think Michael would attend just to take pictures but he came! :) still didn't do any rock climbing though! Ha

Whilst getting dressed a cockroach hopped out of Michael's shorts! Most hilarious thing ever! That boy can scream! Ohwell serves him right for leaving them on the floor!!! Muahahaha!

I was the only person doing the morning rock climbing so I had my instructor 'rat' all to myself!

Walked down to 'Muay Thai Wall' that's limestone cliffs on about a 3 square meter bit of sand and then sea all around! Beaut! Rat started me off on a small wall! It was 15 meters high! There was a lot of other people there with their instructors so Michael wasn't alone! He took loads of pictures bless him!

Rat climbed up the wall without a rope and had bare feet, to attach the other ropes through! He taught me how to do all the knots and when he climbed, how to save his life! I told him he needed to start praying! He just laughed though!

Never done rock climbing before!

Did the 15 meter climb ok! It was scorching hot in the Thai sun! As limestone is slippery you have to use chalk on your hands. Everyone says absailing down is the hardest part but I disagree! Finding places to put your hands if definately the hardest part! I didn't fall though!

Then moved over to a 20 meter wall! This had parts of the cliff that jutted out so I have to cling on for dear life! At one point he shouted 'Annie move your left leg up and sit on the nob!' after crying with laughter and looking down to see everyone doing the same I briskly moved past the nob! I need street cred!

Rat doesn't speak very loud and I could bearly hear him! He kept telling me to enjoy the view so I would whip my head round for half a second. Was a pretty amazing view though but as I enjoy being alive, I decided I wouldn't look for to long! Cut my knee on this climb! :( I want a princess plaster!

After this it started chucking it down! I love the rain but decided it wasnt best to get drenched then climb up a slippery rock. We walked form 'Muay Thai Wall' all the way to 'Phranang Cave' on the other side of Railay. It's also limestone cliffs on the beach but there was a little more beach at this one!

Climbed up a 25 meter wall! This one you had to go over jutting out out rocks so you were diagonal, through cracks in the rock and under tree roots! Its funny stopping and speaking to people half way up a cliff! Met a lovely girl from Canada!

After I finished the 25 meter one and touched the metal hoop I abseiled down once more! Nearly killed myself as rat thought it was funny to go 100 miles an hour! Believe me, he payed for it when I was down!

Finally I went up the hardest one! Only about 20 meters but took me like 30 minutes! There was absolutely no where to put your hands or feet, I think if I was taller it would have made it easier! Couldn't hear rat at all, bless him he is a quite soul, so the girl a met half way up the cliff stood at the bottom and shouted what he was saying to me! All this while Michael sat and laughed at me!!

Michael got bored with watching me as started watching videos on how to cut fruit into pretty things!

Made it to the top though so I'm proud of myself! Packed our stuff and started to head back when a couple started running after us! A guy had fallen off the cliff! He had gone up the route I had just taken but changed ropes as my instructor takes his ropes home. He was layed at the bottom of the cliff and his head was covered in blood. As if I didn't bring my first aid kit! Mother it will not be any use to me at all! Ha

Apparently he had fallen from about half way up the cliff and hit his head on the rocks at the bottom! The double 8 knot had come undone so he came off the rope! This could have been me! Give me strength! Michael felt sick at the sight of blood so we didnt stay to watch the boat ambulance come! :(

Walked back to the main strip and I had a hazelnut shake! B E A utiful!

Waited till 5 ish and walked back down to Phranang beach to watch the sun set! But at 4.57 as we were walking to the beach to take amazing photos, Railay decided to start having a tropical rain storm! Great. Ran all the way back to the main strip and went to a restaurant called 'the last bar' , think its called this as it actually is the last one on the strip. Very inventive.

Anyway we decided to go Indian tonight! I ordered prawn masala with rice which came to 200 baht! Good god I am not paying that for a meal again! £4! Kill me now! ;) I think it was because in all other Thai prawn meals they give you 2 prawns to keep costs down. They gave me 5! They must have realised I'm a princess :)

This island is full of Americans! In every crevice of the land!!!

Went on a hunt for playing cards! One shop wanted to charge us £10 for one! Please do you know who we are!

At home you can buy self tan or spray tans! In Asia I have noticed that you buy self whitening for your skin. In all the shops! It's weird!

Borrows some playing cards of the rock climbing package lady as we are now best friends!

Went back to the room, kicked out the frog who decided to set up camp in our room and Michael tried to teach me some card games! Did not work as he mixed 3 card games into one and I swear he cheated and just made up rules! Who says pick up 2 when you put a 2 down!!!!!!
