Up at half 8 to get ready for a day of travelling! Had breakfast at the resort! Thai people have rice soup for breakfast but I was fine with my toast! Very English! Ha got our rucksacks and got in the taxi boat to the main pier!
This island is so beautiful! Its pure paradise and I can't wait to come back! White sand beaches and clear blue water! Looking out on nothing but sea and other islands! The pictures do not do it justice! So gutted that I have to leave today! I would definitely recommend anyone who travels through Thailand to go to Ko Phi Phi! 100% the most beautiful place I have ever been!
Got on the ferry boat at 10.30! Actually got a seat this time! Although sitting on a mouldy life jacket is not what I would call travelling in style! Ha
Got back to Krabi at 12, you get pushed through like cattle! Shouting at you and pushing! Crazy! Got on a transfer bus! This stupid woman who sat in front of us on the ferry got on our bus! God help me! I think she was German and she kept grabbing other people's babies and taking them away from there mothers! Go back to Germany lady!!!!
The bus dropped us off at another taxi boat, we got on and picked other people up on the way! A lady fell in the boat and it took all my strength not to burst out laughing! Really! Don't fall it's not good for your street cred ;)
Got to Railay at 2 ish and asked other tourists where was good to stay as this is the only place we don't have accommodation already booked for us! This is because Sophie said she wouldn't recommend anywhere! Scary! Ohwell only staying here for 2 nights! Checked into the 'diamond cave resort' which costs 500 baht for a night (£10) very expensive but everywhere in the islands is expensive! 500 baht is a lot of money!!!
The room was errrr ... Interesting. We have a complimentary resident lizard, cockroach, caterpillar, killer fly, mosquito, ants and got knows what else!!
Went to the beach side hut cafe called yoyo i think! We both had sandwiches and a mango shake! definitely recommend mango shake! Shake it all the way!!!
Went for a walk to see what else is on the island! Didn't find much but I like it! It's not to touristy! I think it would be when it's high season though (between November and April) as the restaurants have a lot of seats etc.
Went back, got ready and went out at 7 so the resort restaurant a they had the cheapest cocktails! Had Pad Thai and a Mai Thai! We are so Thai! Ha had no idea what was in a Mai Thai so I took a picture if the cocktails ingredients as they don't usually tell you! Not that we drink much :| ha ;)
Really hate holiday makers now! They are so high maintenance! Please get out of my way silly people! Love other travellers though! Carrying a rucksack is definitely the way to my heart! Ha
Although, travellers really smell! All smell the same it's like a fusty smell!
I read in my lonely planet book that Railay is the best place to go rock climbing in Thailand! So I decided it was a must! Went to the nearest trip booker 'N Joy rock climbing' and asked about it. Read that it should cost 800 baht and it did! This included equipment, guide, insurance and shoes! Booked it for tomorrow for 9am till 1pm. 800 baht (£16) SOLD!! DONE!
Michael doesn't want to go rock climbing as he said he doesn't really enjoy it! So I'm going it alone!
Can't wait to do it tomorrow! I don't think i have been rock climbing properly before and told the guide this but she said it want a problem!
