Pleasant walk up Frenchmans Creek in morning. Our guide tells us the walk will take about 2hrs as a round trip. We are at the top in 25mins. Germany states 'but it only took us 25 minutes to get to the top! Zis is supposed to be a 2hr walk!" Japan declares the walk "brilliant! is very good!" Ireland, Engalnd Australia and Holland all re-stock on booze.

Spend some time on a brilliant beach, sunbathing, frolicking in the water, snorkelling etc. We have a (planned) late lunch. Germany states 'I thought you had forgotton about lunch! I am very hungry!"

Afternoon: the phantom guffer makes their first appearance on the bus. Who could it be?

Evening: camp in the middle of the desert, by a wood fire, under the stars. The evening idyll is broken (for those trying to sleep without ear plugs) by Ireland's champion snorer. Switzerland neutral on food preparation, cooking and washing up.
