Have been to Rotorua and seen the Lake there and also visited the Museum and a Maori Cultural site. Weather over the last few days has been sunny and warm but it is on the change now and we are expecting rain by this evening. On the way to the Glowworm Caves we went through some NZ roadworks which are something else. The whole of the top road surface - both sides - had been taken off down to the hardcore layer and traffic was allowed to continue to use it albeit as a single carriageway. Won't see that on the M25.

Every turn is a "LOOK AT THE SCENERY" moment.

Off to Napier tomorrow and the wine areas around Hastings - Hawkes Bay.
