Anna's travels......
Today got the bus (only 2hr 40 mins) to Colina Del Sacramento. Before we left the hotel cleaner gave me all my clothes back. She took them home last night, wash and ironed them all for about 3 pounds. Bless.
Oh, and just have to say that the boys made me watch the Britney Movie last night, Crossroads. They were loving it. How corny is that film!! We all had a good laugh at the crap acting.
Colina Del Sacramento, as the book says "is a superstar of a town, just so cute" (i think an American wrote this guide book), but is is lovely here. Cobbled Streets, river views, nice bars and restaurants. The houses are painted different colours and there are loads of old (1930's) cars about.
We had a stroll round town, which did not take long as it is really small.
Had a bit of an experience with a Man from Uruguay!! We went up a light house to see the views and there was this man up there. You could ask him questions etc. The only thing was, he was not the smallest of men. Rather large actually. As you can imagine the top the light house is very small. You can just about walk around the top and if you need to cross someone it is a tight squeeze (even 2 little people). Well, MR Lighthouse man, decided that he would not make it easy for me to pass him. Both times, he rubbed me when I walked past. Oh it was horrible. Andy and Jerry thought this was so funny though and were laughing like little boys. I did laugh myself as I could not beleive that a dirty old man, and fat, would get such a cheap thrill by working at the top of a light house. It must be a boring job and if thats what a guy needs to do to get through a working day then who am I to stop him. So just as we left I walked passed and let him do it again!! haha nah, only joking.
In the evening we were out having dinner and we bumped into Sarah and Emily (girls from Rio). Didn't realise South America was so small.
