Sat 5th Feb Little hang over this morning. Went to an ENGLISH pub last night, Lord Jim! Had a few and was very tired so had a wobbly walk home. Didn't roll off top bunk so that was ok. Today we went to the football. About 70 people from the hostel went. As always nothing went smoothly. The mini buses were over an hour late. Got to the game on time though. It was Fluminense V Flamengom, 2 local teams. At Maracana Stadium. Ended up 2-2. Great atmosphere. When they scored the crown went mad. Flags, banners, fire work things going off. The stadium was massive, it holds 100,000 people I think. My Plane Friend Sarah came along with her new mate Abi. They are such nice girls. They had a good time too. Sarah is going to Oz and NZ too so hopefully see here there too. On the way back the mini bus got lost. The drivers here are really bad, there never know there way around. Brazilian timing is worst than in Italy! Another good day, I'm liking the traveling thing.
