Day 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, (24/04 - 28/04) Hello, i am now in Cambodia, and back in Tuk-Tuk land. I spent the last few days in Ho Chi Minh City. I went to the chu chi tunnels, where the Chu Chi people hid from the Americans during the American War here. They hid for weeks and months at a time, without surfacing. I had the chance to go through some of the tunnels, which have been widened for tourists. Its amazing how these people lived down there, because though they have been widened, i still found it narrow and claustrophobic. Some women even gave birth in them. I have pictures of me in the tunnels, but the computers are so slow here, that i probably wont be able to upload them untill i get back into Bangkok, in about 10 days. I saw some the city's sights aswell and spent the rest of the time lazing around. Heren left for Malaysia on Wednesday (26/04) Yesterday afternoon, i flew out to Cambodia, on my own. I successfully found some cheap accommodation which has a restaurant next door, so its all good. I started off in a fan a simple fan room. However, when sitting on the bed without moving i was still sweating, which i decided was not a good sign. it was like 30 degrees in that room. When i landed they said they outside temperature was 34 degress. (celsius this is). Anyway, i decided to move to an air con room...muuucch better. :) Len (Canada) is flying out here today, so im just waiting for him to arrive before i go and see the city sites.
