Another day, another beautiful place. We are on Lake Constance which borders Germany, Austria and Switzerland. There are pear orchards everywhere and the lake is huge.

We drove through lovely Fussen , past Neushwanstein Castle (inspiration for Disney) to Wasserburg.

Tonight I had my first meal in 2 weeks without meat; there was some fried cheese though. Luckily , I ran today for the first time since the marathon. Hopefully I can undo some damage before I move to Switzerland, the land if chocolate and cheese.

We have just booked the last available room in Grenoble, France for le Tour time trial next weekend. We shall meander through Switzerland for the next 3 days to get there.
