Prague is beautiful . We have had a lovely day, walking around the old and the lesser town. Our internal GPS went haywire and we managed to spend more than half the morning disoriented. It was a blessing, because we wandered through some lovely streets with some amazing architecture.
We managed to find a nice place to eat for lunch which served a fresh variety of salads, a scarcity since we have arrived. Of course, some sourdough bread too. This is bread heaven!
We finished off the day in Smentana concert hall, listening to the Prague Orchestra play a few classics (Pachabel Canon in D & Vivaldi Four Seasons) also one I hadn't heard before (Mozart 136). That will be good preparation for our trip to Mozart's house when we get to Salzburg.
We got caught in a massive thunderstorm outside the concert hall; again good prep for Salzburg (Sound of Music officionado's will know that I am referring to Leisel getting caught out in a ferocious storm and climbing into Fraulein Maria's bedroom. I digress, plenty more of that later!!!).
Tomorrow we are heading south to Cesky Kromov which is a world heritage site enroute to Slovenia.
