HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME DAY

Champagne and card and present opening on the roof started the day off. Very appreciated gifts of 2 big bars of galaxy, 2 bags of Haribo, Jd, magazines, a watch, a necklace and some australian dollors. We then visited the Grand Palace and Wat Po (also known as the reclining buddha. Pok very kindly gave up his afternoon to act as our guide for Wat Po, sharing things that we would never have known. Also it's traditional in Thailand on your birthday to donate something in celebration of it being your day of birth so while at Wat Po I gave some money and donated a roof tile to be used during the restoration of the temple. You could write a message on it and when needed will be used.

We went to a lovely restaurant for dinner with Vicky, Ross, Cath, Tash, Hannnah and Jake called Cabbages and Condoms. . . some interesting photos will be uploaded lol
