WOWZERS, the 1st December!! Hope you've all got your xmas shopping started . . .

Ang and Ross have flown to Kuala Lumpur but I have decided to spend a few days with Cath and Tasha. After finding a triple room we spent some time on the beach. We then went to the Severn wells waterfalls and after managing to get by the monkeys, with the help from Cath and her monkey stick, and up the exhausting 600 steps the views were definately worth it! We then went for a ride on the cable car, again with gorgeous views, however weather turned so we decided getting down safely was a better plan than staying to watch the sunset behind the fastly approaching rain clouds! And good call as the heavens opened just as we got to the taxi and it continued almost all night.

Now I think the place we stayed deserves a new paragraph lol Room quite big, beds ok and couldn't see any bed bugs but opted for sleeping bag liner just incase - thanks you guys from work, it's been very useful! Bathroom, interesting. . . door didn't close let alone lock and we didn't notice until it was too late that there wasn't a sink . . . hence having to use bottled water and the toilet for toothbrushing and the hose used in this part of the world instead of toilet paper - or as Cath amusingly describes it the bum hose - for handwashing! But these seemed only minor issues when woken at 1.30am to a strange man shouting and banging on our door, tring to get in!! A little scary but despite your fears our door actually locked, and again Cath saved the day by getting rid of him, and we survived our night.
