After an interesting taxi trip to the bus station, which included the taxi man putting his spare tyre on the roof to make room for our bags and then explaining it was against the law, we arrived in the Cameron Highlands and found somewhere bigger than a cell to sleep all before 11am! Today as the weather was a bit rubbish we decided to do part of our journey to the above picture, the Cameron Highlands. We got the ferry to the mainland and then the bus to Ipoh. After arriving later than expected we sat in the 24hour Mcy D's and took it in turns to search for a bed. We eventually settled for a room that no word of a lie resembled a prison cell! Still a place to catch a few z's before our early start!
