Leaving Chicago
After another late night it was a bit of a struggle getting up but we were up and about by midday and met up with Ali and Michael for lunch. En route we went to the post office to finally post the cards we'd been carrying round for the past week, they dont really have post boxes over here and no where else sells stamps!! After lunch we all went to costco where a 53” teddy bear for $30 caught mine and Ali's eyes and we decided it would be perfectly acceptable to sleep in the box where they were all stored as they were so soft! Then there was the old skool arcade machine for $1800...awesome but not such a great deal!! After doing the usual rounds of the samples and getting a few bits for the next leg of our journey we said goodbye to Ali and Michael and headed off towards Niagara Falls. It was by now about 5.30 and Andy drove until the early hours of the morning when we got pulled over by the police for driving too slow!! After checking our documents and saying he pulled us as we were driving slowly and looking a bit lost he advised us to go back a couple of miles and park up for the night at the Walmart we passed in Toledo. So thats what we did and at nearly 3am went to sleep.
