Quite an experience getting to the start of our cycle tour, hills to Sheffield, an overnight stop before boarding the coach for a marathon belt south.
We munched our way through hours of travel, hours in England to Dover, more food on the ferry and lots of pit stops through the changing French countryside. From very windy and English-like Calais to the warm and Mediterranean south. The overnight "sleep" on the coach is best behind us, we are looking forward to saddling up for miles on the road. AB
Horrible 30 hours on the coach. Club class seats?? I must make sure never to join a club of this quality! Andy snored and whistled his way through France while I watched 2 disaster movies on the distant 4" screen. Never again! ....Until next year. About 30 degrees outside at 9am. Could be a long day in the Pyrenees. APL

Liz Hi you two, coach journey sound pretty horrid (must remember not to book a Shearings 'holiday'. Ever) But you're there - keep an eye out for Morgan en route. Love the way your blog is a shared entry, looking forward to the next page already.
