Well...Toowoon Bay...I have to admit, there is not much to say about this place. Don't get me wrong, the place itself is okay...but the weather along with my sickness and Charli's inability to run around really made this place booooorrrring!!!!
We arrived on a beautiful sunny day and checked in. We decided a lovely site on the cliff over looking the water would be perfect for us! After setting up and meeting our neighbours (a lovely couple who sold their house to buy a caravan to live in caravan parks on the south coast and a crazy man who lives full time here. He patrols the streets of the caravan park...creeepy!), we settled down. Unfortunately I had come down with a horrible cough and was driving Andy crazy with all my coughing! We had noodles for dinner as we couldn't be bothered cooking a real meal after the long drive.
I could go day by day and tell you all of the amazing things that we did...but I could also dot point them as all 5 days merged into one, long, boring, cold and wet time here.
So, this is what we did in Toowoon Bay:
- Eat (a lot...if Andy opens another packet of shapes I'll kill him!)
- Watch movies...on average about 2.5 movies a day.
- Play on our i-phones and i-pads.
- Eat.
- Sleep. I believe I slept through 2 days straight but I blame this on the sickness.
- Shower.
- Eat.
- Discuss the horrible weather.
- Play many board games including "Logo Board Game" and "Skip-Bo" which we have now turned into a challenge. Andy is winning 6 games to 3, which he is very happy about. Little does he know that I am letting him win...;)
- Eat.
- Sleep.
- Curse the horrible weather.
- Watch TV.
So as you can see we didn't do much in Toowoon Bay. Oh! I forgot, we did have a meal down the street at the pub. Andy had fish and chips and I had soup...wow, I know, exciting!
In other news, Charli is doing really well. Maybe the weather has been a blessing in disguise as all she has done is sleep and eat. I'm looking forward to her getting her stitches out so that we can get out and about again.
We're off to North Haven tomorrow which is just south of Port Macquarie...one of my mums favourite places in the world! The weather looks like it's getting better too. Thank goodness!!
Keep coming with those comments...we love reading them!
