Back to a 5am wake up call for us today. We got the bus back up to Macchu Picchu for a 2 hour tour around. Our guide Jose told us lots of interesting things, both on the tourand on the previous days on the trail.
We got the bus back down to Agua Calientes and had a wander around the shops. We bought a couple of pin badges for our rucksacks. We sat in the square for a while, then went to have lunch (pizza - mmm!) at a restaurant right beside the train tracks that run through the centre of town.

Nearby the restaurant was what looked from the back like a VW camper van, but on closer inspection we realised it wasn't, and whatever it was had been converted to run on the train tracks!

After lunch we caught the train back to Ollantaytambo and swapped to a bus to take us back to Cusco.

That evening in Cusco we went to a restaurant called 'The Fallen Angel'. There were some funky lighting effects, angels and flying pigs decorating the wall. The tables were made from bath tubs, with live fish, rocks, etc inside and a glass top. Cool! We had a few very nice cocktails and lovely steak to celebrate finishing the Inca Trail. Mmm!
