We are currently in Ulaanbataar, the Mongolian capital city. We've spent the past couple of nights in a Ger camp in the middle of the coutryside before exploring the city today. Tomorrow we're off on the train again to Irkutsk.

We've arrived in Beijing! This'll be the jumping off point for our Trans-Mongolia Express adventure (provided we can get our visas sorted!). Only 3 countries left on our trip and one more flight. But we're still having fun

We're in Hanoi enjoying the hussle and bustle of Vietnam. Saw Uncle Ho yesterday. Crossing the road is fun - there are millions of bike motorbikes racing around. However if you walk slow they'll go round you... Bit cooler in Hanoi than other places - first time for a while we've not had to put the air con on in our hotel. We're currently in Luang Prabang in Laos, the second country on our Indochina Loop tour. Laos is a great place and we're thoroughly enjoying everything here.

We made it to Thailand after a 9 hour journey in a 'mini-van' from Penang in Malaysia. We've met up with Vic and her brother Matt and his girlfriend Cheryl. Spent yesterday on a gorgeous beach swimming in the warm sea. We're both very relaxed now...
