I arrived at Fraser Island yesterday morning set up my new tent and headed to the public RESORT (have a look at the photos in under the photo tab above )

So I relaxed in my deck chair by the side of the pool, received my drinks from the beautiful resort girls and swam and ate.

Near sunset I went to the beach to take photos but unfortunately there were too many clouds and couldn't get a good shot but my attempt anyway is also with the other "Fraser Island" photos.

I had a fairly good sleep but had lost my foam mat during the storm at Nambour so the hard ground kept me tossing and turning.

I had breakfast this morning overlooking the bay at Kingfisher thinking how beautiful and peaceful this Island is when what I thought was a "March Fly" bit my neck I shooed it way in irritation , then suddenly I was being stung multiple times I jumped up as if I was a marianet puppet and all my strings had been pulled at once, flaying my hands around trying to brush away whatever was attacking me.

As I ran away from my campsite I checked myself for damage, I ended up with 5 BIG , I mean really BIG bites on me that stung for about an hour but are subsiding now.

I'm back by the pool edge relaxing and it's only just after 9am on my second day!
