Been struck down by a rank illness! Diarrhoea, vom, headaches, fever, weakness. All part and parcel of the Nepal experience I guess, but feel hurrendous. Had an awesome sat night in pokhara with friends from Newcastle (who I co-incidentally didn't know were going to be there!). Couldn't go paragliding though as couldn't get out of bed on sunday. What a first working week its been here in Tansen. As I have mentioned earlier we work here from sunday to friday. The weekend is a relaxed saturday only and then its back to the chaotic yet rich learning environment that is Tansen Missionary Hospital. Had my first full day in hospital today guys! It starts at 7:45 with handover and then its off to the medical ward for ward round.
