Just when I thought this trip was coming to a quiet end, it turns out we are trapped in the inescapable Manhatten for Huricane Irene which hits NYC tomorrow. It is safe to say I am tired and scared. Ladies and gentleman, We arrived in Santa Monica LA yesterday. It was sad to leave fiji (beach rugby and fishing) but I was ready to move on to pastures new. We are staying right on the beachfront and today me and chan walked right down to muscle beach and ate lots of greasy food (a calzone containing more cheese than I knew was possible) !
