Well Sarah has now got a job working for the Sheriff of Melbourne as an admin assistant! Honestly there is such a thing as the Sheriff of Melbourne! It pays well so its all good! My job is going well, it is quite funny because they keep asking me what I think about really complicated traffic orders and regulations as if I know what I'm doing!

We have had a very cool week! We got lucky and managed to get cheap tickets to see The Killers on Tuesday and Muse on Thursday! Of course that meant we were sat up in the gods for both gigs but that didn't matter too much! Sarah was really excited because she had not seen either band before!

The Killers were really good and very polished. It was a bit annoying though that they didn't have a big screen because to us they just looked like tiny dots from where we were sat at the back of the arena! They said this was their 175th performance of Sam's Town and I think it showed a little bit as they didn't seem to have the usual amount of energy you expect from them. Despite that it was a really good gig.

Then Thursday was the big one - Muse. I had been really bigging them up to Sarah, saying they are the best live act I have ever seen and how great they were, and they didn't disappoint! They were AWESOME! So much energy, really talented, great light show with visual effects and they had big screens so even though we were sat in the very back row we could see what was going on! We were both completely blown away and Sarah now agrees with me, Muse are possibly the best live act we've seen!

Saturday we went to check out Victoria Market and took Sarah J and Laura with us. It is a huge market selling just about everything you could possibly want, and in some cases stuff you just wouldn't know what to do with! We wandered around, soaking up the atmosphere and resisting buying too much! There were all sorts of people there, most browsing but a lot doing their weekly shop in the deli, meat, fish and fruit and veg sections, which all looked really good quality stuff. We got some cracking sausages and great steak on the bbq for dinner -ohm!

After such a hectic week, with late nights and having to get up early for work it has been a bit of a shock for us! We have been pretty tired so have been taking advantage of a nice relaxing Sunday, in the sun!
