Hey guys :) I'm now in Queenstown and it is fantastic! Really nice place with lots and lots of shops (yay!) and cool bars. Hostel is ok, rooms are pretty cramped but starting to get used to getting ready in a metre square patch of the room haha. We're sharing with three guys, two from Bristol and one from Birmingham (as soon as he starting talking I thought of you Jo!!!). Really cool lads and one of them even has hair straighteners with him so I'm pretty happy having him as a roomy lol. Feeling pretty worse for wear after our first night out in the party capital last night...really good night though! Only complaint is that Dave the Brummy snores SOOOOOO loudly, i think i got an hours sleep max last night...i swear the room was actually vibrating haha. I'm off after this to invest in some ear plugs!
Last time I blogged I was in Franz Josef awaiting the Glacier hike which was absoultely amazing! A lot more challenging than I expected but we had a great day for it and the scenery was stunning. When we got back to the hostel that evening I was absoutely exhausted so it was early to bed...but only after a glass of wine or two hehe. Next day we headed onto Wanaka where we stayed in a hotel which was absolute luxury with a tv and an ensuite in each room with a bath, shame we were only there one night.
The next morning we headed to Queenstown. We stopped off at Puzzle world on the way to tackle the 3D maze and illusion rooms which was cool and then onto the Bungy centre to watch some of the people on the bus throw themselves off a bridge. Just watching the people standing on the edge about to jump made me feel faint haha!
And that brings me to today!Am looking forward to staying in Queenstown for a while, there's so much to do! Anyway, take care everyone and speak soon xxx
