You'd think I'd be able to remember a few days worth of stuff that I've done but it's amazing how quickly you forget these things - definitely getting older!! So Friday last week is a bit of a blur... But I know it ended in a fairly drunken evening on the 'mature' adult's side with me sat soberly watching. Fun to be the one with the camera though! Saturday I went on a bit of a road trip; not really sure where we ended up except that we were in the 'city of casey' but we went to a lovely little cafe and just had a mooch around a fair. Managed to get some time with my other cousin Dom and wife Jade in the evening too; big thanks to you two and jades parents for a beautifully cooked barbie! The following morning I managed to drag myself out of bed early enough to meet Chris in Melbourne for my own personal guided tour of the city.. Went and checked out st Kilda which was lovely, sooo much going on in the city that day though so there was people everywhere! On the way back to the city we caught sight of the Melbourne Grand Prix track which was pretty nice!! When in the city again we popped on the slightly squishy city circle tram from federation square and took it to where Chris's ice hockey game was. It's amazing how much you get in to a game of sport you know nothing about when one the goalies is your family!! Nail biting match... But Chris smashed it on penalties bringing victory at the semi finals for them, woop! (Reckon having me a spike there as his mascots made that happen but still...) Gutted I can't be there to see the final played next week. Finished the day off with a Chinese by the harbour, much more pleasant than the urm.... 'Interesting' Chinese in Singapore! All in all a very perfect day. Lots of laughter. Enjoying my time with everyone here hugely and don't really want to leave em all! (I keep saying I'm going to stay, they think I'm joking....)
Monday I took myself in to dandenong centre for a trip around the charity shops to do a bit of bargain hunting. Met up with the others later on and just had a chilled last evening with everyone tonight. Tomorrow will be packing early and checking out of the cabin by 10, before heading up to the airport :( bubye Melbourne! Amy x

Gandy I'm so glad you're enjoying the experience. I'm also happy you're keeping such a brilliant blog. I will be an avid reader and not at all jealous :)
Carol your blog is really good Amy...I can hear your voice as I read it. May your enjoyment continue...love Carol xx
Chris It was great that we actually got time to spend together so I could show you around. I had a great day and was very helpful having you there chearing me on at my ice hockey finals. It would have been great if you could have made it to the grand final but either way we managed to win that also 4-2. I'm so glad you had fun in Melbourne, I just wish it could have been for longer.
