I've left the orphanage now, it was sad to say goodbye but I think if I didn't leave when I did I would have ended up staying there forever! I wanted to leave them with something useful, so I brought them all their own toothbrush and a bar of soap, in return they gave me something personal - Head Lice!! They don't have nit lotion in the village; they use tweezers and pick them out. I couldn't do that so I got the bus to Phnom Penh with one of the other girls and we had a de-nitting night. We stayed in a nicer part of the city and it was so much better than my last visit. We had professional pictures taken in traditional Khmer clothes. They spend hours doing your hair and makeup so you look like a drag queen; I had so much eye make on it was hard to blink! Then they get you to do loads of cheesy poses and they put tacky backgrounds behind you - It was so much fun!!

I did a cooking class yesterday, we got all the food from the local market, my fish was still alive so I had to kill it before we gutted it. Turns out I'm pretty lame with a meat cleaver - I tried to chop its head of three times, but I just hacked bits of its face off. The poor thing was still alive so I basically tortured it for 5 minutes before the teacher came and snatched the knife off me……it tasted good though!

The bus to Battambang was pretty horrible, for 5 hours I was sat infront of these two American girls that did nothing but moan. When I eventually managed to block them out and fall asleep I woke up and someone had stolen my flipflops! After that and the ordeal of being 23 with nits I decided to treat myself and checked into a ''nice'' hotel - $5 a night, it has a fan, my own bathroom, a tv, free toilet roll and a towel - luxury!!!!!
