The temples in Siem Reap were amazing. We were so lucky, every time we left a temple 3 or 4 coaches of tourists turned up so we managed to avoid the big crowds and in the morning the place was deserted - you could just hear the birds and there were loads of butterflys, it was really surreal. Its crazy that they don't protect the buildings though, you can climb all over them and go where ever you want - health and safety is just unheard of! We left at 5am...

I've left the orphanage now, it was sad to say goodbye but I think if I didn't leave when I did I would have ended up staying there forever! I wanted to leave them with something useful, so I brought them all their own toothbrush and a bar of soap, in return they gave me something personal - Head Lice!! They don't have nit lotion in the village; they use tweezers and pick them out. I couldn't do that so I got the bus to Phnom Penh with one of the other girls and ...

The past few weeks have been manic - I went to Si Phan Don in south Laos and chilled on a hammock over the mekong river for a few days, we saw river dolphins and accidentally stumbled across a cow giving birth which was pretty horrific. I spent a few days in Ratanakiri in the east of Cambodia, we cycled to some nice waterfalls, one you could stand under. That was fun but it hurt like hell and the guy next to me got hit on the head by a fish which was pretty funny...
