On the 26th we were up at 4.30am (!) and left Dar es Salaam for Baubab Camp, named after the "upside down" trees that are prolific in the area. Apparently some live for up to 4,000 years! The campsite was really nice and in the evening we got to sit back and look at the stars, spotting the milky way and about a million other stars - loads more than back in London!! :-)On Sunday 27th we left the camp after pancakes for breakfast (yum!) and a lie in (9.30...

Sorry for the long delay, there hasn't been much internet access and we've been so busy! On Sunday 13th we left our hotel in Nairobi and joined up with the tour. We got to meet our fellow travellers and saw the truck for the first time. It's massive and is apparently the "posh" one!
