Wednesday 13th may We spend a mostly quiet day researching and relaxing and in the afternoon take a bus out to the Buddhist temple. There are lots if Buddha statues. It's a peaceful place with a good view of the city.

Tuesday 12 may Breakfast and off to the bus station to head to the dam. We arrive early and get our tickets sorted and paid. Then to wait. There is free wifi! Quite a few spots actually. The tour starts at ten with a video then a bus trip and finally a tour inside. It's definitely an impressive structure! 40,000 ppl working to build it. Schools, hospitals and towns built for them. Monday 11 may Breakfast is very good! Lots of fruit, eggs and cake! Yum. We do some research and then go for a walk about to find buses and laundry. Laundry is $8/kg. we get back to the hotel, sort our laundry things and get ready for the bird park. Our laundry will be ready at 6pm. I'm hoping my jeans will shrink and fit me better! Sunday 10th may It rained pretty heavy for most of the night- yes I know- didn't sleep much! But at least the rain kept a lot of motorbikes away! We pack up and tidy and get ready to leave at nine.
