We wake refreshed to rain. It's hard to want to get up. The temperature was just right for a good sleep. We pack up and leave and eat snacks on the way. We travel all day with a few stops. We go to a drive through tree over 2100 years old. The discount grocery store is interesting and get some good deals. We pick up a hitchhiker and give him a lift for awhile. Quite a talker. Mentioned the police and weed a lot. Hmm. It's almost 6pm when we get to a camp site and get the last site! We drive out to the beach and lighthouse. Lots of driftwood. It's a very grey day - which is apparently the norm here. We attend a brief wildlife talk and then head back to our site.
