Sunday 19 July An awful night. A flooded tent. So glad after checking my clock for the 'hundredth' time to see a time reasonable for getting up. We get the things into the car. It feels much better being dry and warm! We stop for the camp wifi which is finally working. We drive back for most of the morning before stopping for petrol and turning off the main road. Saturday 18 July We have to get up early in order to make it by 7:30 to the wilderness centre. We are taking a 12 hour bus ride into the park 91 miles and back. It's raining and continues so most of the day. The scenery is lovely when we can see it. We see lots of wildlife. 7 bears. One eating a carcass, a mother with 2 cubs. Mountain sheep high on the hills. Moose and caribou. Lastly a wolf! A long day, but a good way to spend a wet day.

Friday 17 July It's still raining when we awake and the edges of the tent are very wet and there are small puddles inside. When there is a small break in the weather we get everything packed up. It's a long drive up to the national park. Slow at times due to road works. Once at the national park we find all the campsites are full so we buy bus tickets for tomorrow and head back to find a campsite in the small town/settlement. Thankfully we get the last spot. Aft...

Thursday 16 July An interesting night in the car. There is something to lying down flat. I just can't deal with the cold! It's a long drive back and lots of low grey clouds. We stop at a few spots along the way. Along the roadside we spot for a moose and her two calves. Their so cute! It's mid afternoon by the time we reach anchorage again. We stop for petrol and groceries and an extra blanket. I don't really find things cheap here. Not when you convert it back...

Wednesday 15 July An awful night! Loud birds and regular tooting trains nearby. Things feel better once I'm up and showered! While I was showering and mal was getting breakfast a squirrel took off with one of his bun half's! Sneaky thing. We head off down South and stop at Potters marsh just out of anchorage. It's so beautiful and amazing all the scenery here! For the few hours we drive, stopping at the little walks and view points along the way. We see glacier...
