We are up earlier today. Another sunny day I hope. Once we are out the door we checkout the bus stop for tomorrow morning. Want to make sure we know where to go. We find the cafe where we have to collect our boarding passes and the line is out the door! Thankfully there is a short cut for those with tickets already. 2nd stop of the day is a fantastic baroque fountain. It's lovely. And very popular with the tourists. There are a lot of police about. We see many ancient buildings and remains. We get to the pantheon and on to a long square with three fountains. We buy some hot roasted chestnuts. They are great but we are cheated out of two! We enjoy the sun while we eat and then continue to another square with fresh produce markets. We cross the river into old town to look around. The river is lined with trees in which birds must nest. Some motorbikes are crusted in bird poo. They must have been sitting around a while. I need a toilet so we start looking about and then head back via a small island. All the toilets don't exist or are shut. It's annoying and uncomfortable. Not big on public comfort here! We catch the metro back to shorten our trip after tramping around looking for a toilet.
An early night tonight so we can rise early in the morning.
