A long day ahead. We get up pack bags and have breakfast. Try and figure out some things like transport for LA. It's a bit daunting trying to find your way about. But we'll get there I'm sure. We survived South America!
We head to the bus station and get tickets for the 11am bus to the airport. While we wait I buy some more pastries. They are so cheap and filling. We get off when the bus first stop only to figure later it was the wrong terminal. Did not understand the drivers Spanish. Thankfully there is a shuttle to the other terminal and we have heaps of time. The flight is delayed but eventually we leave and then wait a few more hours in Mexico City before flying to LA. We make it to LA in good time, but wait on the Tarmac 30min or more. The customs line is slow and our officer is quite rude. Maybe they want to rile you up a bit to see if you crack. That makes it about 1am local time and 3am body time. Sore eyes and headache!
