It's cold in the morning, but fine and no rain! Malcolm is very thorough in his sorting and packing and cleaning. We eat breakfast and then leave. On our way to the airport we stop to do some hikes. One to see some waterfalls and another apparently good for spotting beavers. We see none.
2 more stops to fuel and wash the car and we make it to the rental drop off with only minutes to spare. Thankfully there is time to relax at the airport and free wifi. It's good to upload my blogs and do research. The flight is much shorter than I anticipated. Mostly it seems due to time differences. I'm a little disappointed that the planes seem to lacking as far as modern conveniences. South America outshines in many ways! Once in Canada through customs we head to the rental car desk. The costs are crazy. Really wishing we had booked with our travel agent! Probably less than half the cost.
Eventually we find our way to a Walmart car park after many missed turns. No internet. Thankfully Walmart has bathrooms. I'm so exhausted I sleep quite well.
