An awful night! Loud birds and regular tooting trains nearby. Things feel better once I'm up and showered! While I was showering and mal was getting breakfast a squirrel took off with one of his bun half's! Sneaky thing.
We head off down South and stop at Potters marsh just out of anchorage. It's so beautiful and amazing all the scenery here! For the few hours we drive, stopping at the little walks and view points along the way. We see glaciers, streams, the ocean and stop at a wildlife rescue. I love the baby bison. They are so cute. It's late afternoon by the time we have lunch and after we walk to a reducing glacier face. It starts raining on the way back. We see a moose on the side of the road. It's late by the time we stop along the spit for the night. The long light really messes with things. We walk along the board walk and buy some chips for dinner. I'm sleeping in the car tonight. Much quieter and warmer. Nights are the bane of my existence at the moment.
